Artist Statement:
Ollie is a body of work that demonstrates the idea of a stories-based brand, created for Olivet Nazarene University. This collection illustrates the brand philosophy and guidelines, design, and stories that individually demonstrate the elements of the brand. Together they create the community behind Ollie. The concept of this show
was inspired by the artist’s love of sharing others’ stories through her love for design and fashion.
Through strategic imagery, meticulous design, and branding, the artist is able to create an immersive atmosphere where others can share in the stories of students.
The artist’s vision for this body of work is for the viewer to find their sense of belonging through the stories of others.
