Artist Statement:
People tend to overlook the small details in everyday life and miss the hidden beauty within. Nature photography is a way of seeing what God has created through a magnified lens. This is important to me as a photographer because it lets me explore the unnoticed beauty that
other people can then enjoy and realize how awesome our God is. When I go shoot, I look for small creatures or anything that stands out from the normal, like bright colors or that tend to be
easily ignored. A key part of this process is slowing down, and really looking at what is surrounding me. These works show the “smaller things in life” or the “Hidden Beauty'' within God’s great creation.
